National Crisis Intervention Training Institute, Inc.
Prior to NCITI's expansion of services in 2006, the organization was known as the "Crimes Against Children Task Force" (Founded in Atlanta, GA in 1996). NCITI-CACTF consists of a special network of investigators and clinicians who specialize in both covert and standard investigation of crimes against children, as well as prevention, interdiction, and treatment services. NCITI-CACTF specialists are available for case-by-case consultation with law enforcement agencies, advocacy attorneys and organizations, prosecutors, as well as various social service agencies who are engaged in child welfare functions.
Types of crimes against children which are the foci of NCITI-CACTF are internet crimes against children, child abuse, sexual exploitation, sexual human trafficking of minors, including, but not limited to, forced prostitution of "of-age" adolescents, and child prostitution of minors under the age of 18 years of age.
Agencies and organizations who wish to take advantage of NCITI's consultation and technical assistance services, as well as NCITI training courses focusing on these critical issues, should contact the Director of NCITI's Critical Response Division, via .JJohnson@NCITI.org . Due to the confidential and special nature of NCITI's training and technical assistance, inquiring parties will be vetted to ensure they are currently affiliated with a bona fide law enforcement or social services agency, and that they are currently assigned to an area of investigation involving crimes against children.
